Sitting in your camp kitchen and having first row seats to @viviansmith4709 casually shooting 4 small Huri(wolf fish), is nothing short of a great show 🏹
We of course carry food, but any day a few fresh fish is choosen over the rations 😆
These small streams are full of fish and no time is wasted in filling a pot for a local boily(fish soup) for dinner 🍲
Join us for a trip and see why we in Guyana have some of the best jungle guides imaginable 🙏🇬🇾

A little stroll in jungle camp 🇬🇾🥇
Very typical layout of our expedition camps, hammocks and personal camp up, fish caught is being smoked out for preservation and once stationary, time is spent working on craft with materials found and keeping cool in the hot midday sun 😁
It’s a camping experience a little out of the normal, yet still with all comforts needed to have an amazing stay 🏕️
Are you ready to try out camping in the Amazon rainforest? 🙏🤩

We recently visited Toka village in North Rupununi with @discoverguyana and @visitrupununi 🇬🇾
They have within recent years started a journey of rediscovering their ancestral traditions with making clay work, but as well have been working with old stone axes and tools they have found in their immediate area 🪓
Toka village is placed in an area that has functioned as a transit zone to access the lower Annai area from the Pakaraima mountains and there is an aboundance of archeological sites and remains shattered all over their territory 🥇🤩
In this case have they recreated an axe, with a traditional axe head found in the area to show visitors.
What an absolutely amazing experience to see these tools and worth a visit if you ever find yourself in the area 🙂💪

Shooting fish with bow and arrow is an absolute favourite night time activity. Get a lil’ nice snack out of it as well 😆🇬🇾
The bow and arrow play a vital role in both our expeditions and jungle survival courses as they are used for activities, catching fish and bait among many other things 🏹
If you are up for making your own traditional bow, this can be experienced on our Jungle Bushcraft course we want to run in August 2025. Here you will learn the art of making a traditional bow, spinning the strings and making up the arrows we use to bring back home after the course 🙂
Make sure to get in touch if you want to inquire about any of our trips and remember! We still got spaces on our next jungle survival course happening 28th March to 9th April. The course is already confirmed and we would love for you to join us 🤩

Anaconda on Upper Essequibo river in Kanashen 🥇🇬🇾
Every time we have been visiting our incredible friends from Masakanari in Southeren Guyana, we have come across some very impressive sized Anaconda 🐍
Finding them in this size is a sign that the area is relatively intact and have space for them to grow without interference from humans. Isn’t it just amazing that there is areas like this existing in Guyana? 🤩
You can join us for our expeditions to Wai Wai that runs either as private or group trips and both as overland expeditions, but as well with an option of flying directly in to Masakanari village 🛬🛶

Imagine catching Tiger catfish like this while you are undergoing isolation on the jungle survival course🥇🇬🇾
This is Paul James, he is the son of our lead instructor and just like his father is he an absolute machine in the forest 😂💪
Paul has been a part of the jungle survival courses since he was a young boy and know the trait of moving through the forest, navigation, fishing, hunting and a wealth of knowledge about traditional skills 🙌
Anybody can go to the rainforest, but actually teaching people to survive and stay safe is the foundation of it all. This can only be achieved through having such an amazing set of team members on the ground.
Want to join our survival course?
It is running from 28th of March to 9th of April, if you can’t make that one, we are having one in September as well 🤩

It’s called a rainforest for a reason 😂🇬🇾
This is in Southeren Guyana and under a little fishing trip, we got caught in the rain 🌧️
But remember, your skin is waterproof and you’ll always dry again 😉

Just one of those many amazing moments you get hiking in the jungle on an expedition 🍾🇬🇾
It might be though, but the reward is experiencing some of the most beautiful rainforest one can imagine 🥇⛰️
This is from our most recent archeological expedition to Makarapan, walking up through a creek 🙂

Nice little Himara caught on a nightline in a creek at the foot of Makarapan mountain 🎣⛰️
It has always fascinated us how big fish can live in these smaller creeks and one of the reasons why we always carry some small fishing gear. You simply just never know when an opportunity might occur, the only thing is to just be ready for it when it happens 😂
Whether you join an expedition or a jungle survival course, fishing is for those who want to try it almost always an option 😉

Jesse our youngest team member catching some Black Piranha 🇬🇾🥇
This is the biggest type of carnivorous Piranha we have and this one is still tiny compared to the sizes they go 🤣
This could very easily be your meal on one of our trips and it is a fun fish to catch while visiting on one of our many visits to the jungle 🥳🎣
Get in touch if your ready to join a trip 📧

What an absolute gem! 🇬🇾🥇
Matapi falls is placed in the NW part of Makarapan mountain, North Rupununi in Guyana.
Right below the falls is as well in archeological site with shattered pots in a cave, which could indicate that this has been a well used route to traverse in to Makarapan mountain itself historically 🥇
If you ready for an extra expedition like this, get in touch and we’ll get you ready for your life wildest adventure! 🧭⛰️
