Spend your day in Roatan enjoying a fun combo of Zipline, Monkey and Sloth Hangout, Snorkel and Beach Break Excursion. You’ll meet your friendly guide outside your Roatan cruise port and start with a scenic ride on your way to the zip lines. Your guide will inform you of points of interest on the way. You will have an orientation and get suited up in your gear. Then one at a time at the first plat
form, the guide will clip your harness onto the line and gravity will take you over to the next platform where another guide will unclip you. You will repeat the process of traveling through the trees from platform to platform! You’ll have an hour to see the jungle from the treetops. The circuit consists of 16 separate cables with 24 platforms and includes 3 suspension bridges. From the zip line park, you’ll be taken to the south side part of Roatan to the little community of French Cay where your next adventure takes place. There’s a 45 minute stop there at the Monkey and Sloth Park where you can take some memorable photos with the friendly animals. As well as sloths and monkeys you’ll see macaws, parrots, island raccoons, and Guatusas – known as the island rabbit. Next, you’ll enjoy snorkeling on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, at French Cay Marine Park, known for its beaches, dive sites and marine life. Bring an underwater camera to capture the beautiful coral and abundant aquatic life. Your guide will explain the safety guidelines, provide you with the snorkeling equipment, show you how to use it all if needed, and there off you go! You will follow your guide as they lead the way over some of Roatan's amazing marine life. You'll have approximately 45 minutes snorkeling to admire the underwater wonders. Your last stop is at Las Palmas Beach, a pirate-themed club with shade palapas, beach chairs, showers, FREE Wi-Fi, and restrooms. You’ll have about an hour to relax or take a swim from shore. Or you may be taken to an Oceanfront restaurant, Roatan Famous Conch Fritters, to enjoy a drink or some seafood. Please note that food and drinks at both locations are at your own expense. The site you will stop at depends on the crowds that particular day. At the end of your day, your guide would take you back to your Roatan cruise terminal.
