Yes, the water 𝗶𝘀 just as refeshing as it looks! 🤿
One Roatan activity that is definitely bucket list worthy is Night Snorkeling! 🌌🤿🔦
As long as the weather is on our side, this thrilling experience reveals an entire new world beneath the waves showcasing marine life that only emerges after the sun sets. Don't miss your chance to discover creatures and sights that remain hidden during the day!
It's a special experience to kayak through the mangroves looking for the different wildlife that call the roots and branches home of these vitally important trees.
A long-time guest favorite tour, kayaking is perfect for visitors who are a little more adventurous and enjoy getting in a little workout during their visit too!
A favorite sighting as they are gliding through the shallow waters on boat tours or gracefully soaring by us on snorkel trips are the Spotted Eagle Rays! They are easily identified by their beautiful and distinct pattern on their back made up of a collage of white spot and ring shapes. As seen in the picture, they use their shovel shaped snout to forage for food, their diets largely consisting of invertebrate and fish. Recorded to reach as wide as 10 feet wide and 16 feet in length with an undamaged tail, these rays are second in size to manta rays.
Unfortunately, these beautiful creatures are considered endangered currently on the IUCN Red List. With contributing factors including their low reproductive rate, pollution & habitat loss, and their typical swimming behavior leading to accidental catches in commercial fishing equipment, their numbers are declining worldwide which is exactly why local and international marine conservation organizations are closely monitoring them. This is even easier to do now that a study conducted in 2016 led by Maria del Socorro González-Ramos in Mexico likened their patterns to our human fingerprints, all completely unique in design.
Fun Fact: Sptted Eagle Rays can leap entirely out of the water! Sometimes while out on the boat or standing on the shore, we can hear the loud slap of them landing on top of the water, and we will eagerly look out for a potential 2nd leap.
Roatan Color Palette 🎨 Underwater Edition
Love to see when groups decide to take a little bit of their trip home with them by getting Islandah shirts!
Some days are just perfect for a paddle out in the bay!
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘈𝘭𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘵 is considered to be one of the first deliberate sinkings here on the island, in 1985, turning an abandoned tanker into the now beautiful and full-of-life habitat that it is today.
On a day with the right visibility, this shallower sunken vessel makes it perfect not only for divers to enjoy, but for snorkelers and freedivers too. It is thrilling to glide above or swim down for a little closer look and experience the thrill of underwater exploration!
Thanks to the hard work of our whole team and each one of our guests that made time to leave their review, we are excited to be awarded the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Award for the 3rd consecutive year!

We'd love to have you for your Roatan cruise excursion on your next visit!
A sighting that never gets old for us is definitely the Octopus! 🐙
One of our favorite reasons to go night snorkeling is there's a much higher chance of finding these cool creatures!

THIS is Life in the Bay! 😍
Avoid that feeling of FOMO and book that flight! ✈️
We love to meet cruise ship guests and introduce them to Roatan, but that's truly all they have time for: an introduction. With an international airport right here on the island, it makes it easier to visit for a more extended time here to really get to know and enjoy the island.
But be forewarned...as Luke always says, "Spend a week here, and you'll be hooked!"
Roatan's beauty is certainly not limited to the beautiful blues of the water. The flora boasts some gorgeous colors as well!
Guest experience and satisfaction is our top priority beginning with your initial inquiry and the booking process!
Don't take our word for it, we think the 🔊 ALL CAPS on this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review speaks for itself, and we are so grateful to be recognized with such high praise!

All of our tour guides were born and raised on the island, so we love to answer questions and share facts about the history and cultures that make up this beautiful place we are blessed to call home!
Many of you already know that a clothing line has been a dream of Luke's long in the works!

Get out your magnifying glasses for this creature feature because this type of Headshield Slug specifically known as the Leech Aglaja or Blue Swallowtail Slug with its beautiful neon-like pattern is very easy to swim past without noticing as they rarely exceed little more than an inch in length, and are most often seen much smaller than that.
On the rare occasion they are spotted, it can fairly easily be identified by its two tapering tails and its unique pattern consisting of orange and blue stripes and solid white bar.
Fun fact: Headshield slugs were named for the broad flat shape of their heads which is designed perfectly for burying themselves in the sand.
Can anyone guess what this is!? You never know what you might find snorkeling in Roatan!
We are so privileged to be invited to support Partners in Education Roatan - PIER in their annual fundraiser as they raise money for their education programs on the island!
Together, we can make Roatan even better!
Come as guests, leave as family! We can't think of too many compliments better than that!
