It is always a special joy to read beautiful words about this magical island Brac. Lovely couple from Sand In My Suitcase have been on Brac last Summer and here is what they recommend.

You can visit Brac on a day trip from Split. But to experience the best of Brac, stay on the island. You'll want to hike to Blaca Hermitage, chill at Zlatni Rat Beach, taste wines at Stina Winery and more!

About Galerija Jaksic:

Unique family Jakšić, consists of four academically educated artists, who display their work in Gallery Jakšić. The gallery was built in 2008, in the backyard of the family home in Donji Humac on the island Brač, near all artist studios. On the same place their ancestor “master” Lovre had his gallery already in 1960. In the gallery you can find: unique jewelry in semi-precious stones and silver created by fashion designer Ida Stipčić Jakšić; designed object of stone made by Dražen Jakšić; stone sculptures by academic sculptor Lovre Jakšić and paintings by dr. art. Dina Jakšić. And original souvenirs made of stone form island Brač.

The entire process was amazing, from booking the reservation, to pick up at our hotel, and of course the actual adventure. Tino was our guide and it is evident he is passionate about sharing his island with guests. Tino has the ability to connect with his guests- by the end of the tour you feel like you made a friend. The tour was a perfect blend of history, culture, touring the island, and amazing food and people. I would come back and do the same exact trip again.
