The organisers of the first international kite festival to be held in Croatia and the region, invite you to the small Adriatic island of Susak, where between the 22nd and 26th of June 2011, some of the world's leading kite makers and fliers will remind us how to rediscover our relationship to nature and encourage us to lead more balanced and ecological lives. Croatia this year's visiting international kite guests are Makoto Ohye, Ramlal Tien, Anna Rubin, Michel Sollin Collaction (Steffi Rauchwarter & Georg Kollman), Johann Hedbavny and Darko Poldrugač. This is the first of five short films made with the actress Nina Violić to promote the Susak AIR+art festival. They were made on the island of Susak on the 2nd of April 2011. Director/Camera/Editing: Christian Bushill. Thanks to Lada Sega, Ivan Slipčević, Dalibor Jakus, Predrag Novaković, Sven Pavlinić and Sister Kerubina who provided us with the traditional Susak folk-dress which Nina is wearing.
