[Plitvice lakes – The greatest natural treasure of Croatia] 💖🌊
The Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia’s most popular tourist attraction, was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979. The lakes are a definite must-see in Croatia. The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes, inter-connected by a series of waterfalls, and set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species. The National Park covers a total area of 115 square miles (300 square km), whilst the lakes join together over a distance of 5 miles (8 km). If you’re undecided about whether or not to visit Plitvice Lakes, take a look at any photo album of the Park and that will surely sway you. The official Plitvice Lakes website has a fantastic virtual tour that features some truly stunning scenes.
This guided tour includes pick up and transfer from P**a, Rovinj and Poreč to the National Park and back, walk trough the park to have a close look at waterfalls, ride on a boat around the lower lakes, and sightseeing tour by electric train before leaving the national park. All entrance fees included.

If you want to spend the day with your family enjoying swimming and splashing in the pools, Istralandia is the right choice for that. The water park offers plenty of family fun and pure enjoyment on a variety of water slides, whether open or closed. For those who are eager for real excitement, there are slides where you will experience a real rush of adrenaline. For relaxation, there are massage pools that you can enjoy on hydromassage benches. If you need a break from the great excitement, you can spend time in one of the restaurants or bars that have a wide range of food and drinks.
