Water - the ultimate shaper of history

Vodice is a partner in the HERA project (Sustainable tourism management of Adriatic Heritage) co-funded by the European pre-accession IPA funds. Through this project we've researched a part of the Liburnian-Roman settlement on the hill Velika Mrdakovica and constructed a path that connects that settlement with the Roman cistern at the foot of the necropolis. This valuable archaeological site is now a part of the new cultural tourism route called „Water – the ultimate shaper of history“ which connects cultural attractions of Šibenik-Knin county that are strongly marked by water. We are proud to promote this breathtaking route:

Vodice - Beautiful beach town perfect for active vacation

Charming town of Vodice is located in central Dalmatia, surrounded by Mediterranean islands. It isn't hard to fall in love with this town at first sight, since its unique Dalmatian architecture and overwhelming stone alleys will for sure leave you breathless.

Today, Vodice is a favorite tourist destination, which can be seen from constant increase in the number of satisfied guests.

This is not so surprising because of the newly redesigned Blue Beach and Hangar, the beaches of Vodice which, besides the extraordinary beauty, are also known for the eco-friendly Blue Flag award. Larger hotels such as Olympia, Imperial and Punta, as well as smaller family hotels, take good care of each guest. In numerous restaurants you can find rich gastronomic offer every day.
