The Albanian Alps are famous for their rocky peaks, but the area also has clear blue rivers and waterfalls you shouldn’t miss while you’re there! When visiting Theth, we highly recommend taking a break from climbing mountains for a day and visiting the Blue Eye. The water is so clear, but be warned - it’s extremely cold!

Built over 800 years ago in the middle of a 123-meter-high cliff, Predjama is the largest cave castle in the world. This fairytale-like setting is a fantastic spot to visit when in Slovenia. The castle connects to secret tunnels and is filled with interesting history to discover during your visit.

At less than an hour’s drive from Ljubljana, Predjama (along with Postojna Cave) makes an easy day trip from Slovenia’s capital. You can visit the castle on its own or book an adventure tour to delve further into the underworld and explore the secret passages once used by knights.
