It' going to feel like being back in Scotland๐Ÿ˜ถโ€๐ŸŒซ๏ธ

A change in weather with a big cold is coming to Croatia, and special warnings have been issued. Snow has been announced both in the mountains and in the lowlands, and RTL meteorologist Dorian Ribariฤ‡ gave us details about what awaits us .

"First, heavy rain will fall locally during Saturday, and problems at sea will be caused by stormy southerlies and high tides that could flood the shores. However, the wind will turn to the north in the evening and the storm will start to drop in temperature during the night on Sunday, and will continue until Monday. The rain will gradually change to snow, and by Monday the snow cover will accumulate in the lowlands, 5 to 10, locally in the north and Banovina, possibly 15-20 cm. The most is expected, of course, in the mountains, 20 to 30 cm However, it is important to note that the snow will initially fall with a strong northerly wind, so snow flurries and short-term blizzards are possible, and locally this can mean significantly more cm of snow. At the same time, the snowflakes carried by the storm on Monday will flutter in some places along the sea itself. "

But will winter and snow last?

"Well, that winter will tighten a bit, there will be snow on the ground. However, we can say that it will be a suitable winter cold for the whole next week. The precipitation will stop until Tuesday, and the coldest on land is expected in the middle of the week with all-day minuses, in the mountain areas in the morning up to -10/ -15. Certainly, there will be no shortage of ice. Although it is not extreme cold, the impression at sea will be significantly intensified until Wednesday, Thursday, by a hurricane-force storm."
