Roadside chapels are a thing. When traveling in Europe you might notice the odd little building along the road. These could very well be little chapel buildings. You will find them everywhere in the originally catholic parts of Europe.

But the thing is… you can want all you want, but if the island doesn’t live up to expectations of the rich tourists, why bother?
Trams in front of Den Haag HS. In front of Den Haag Holland Spoor station there is a lot of activity. Mainline trains run through the station, but the city trams have their own stops at the square in front of the train station. If you’re in a hurry to get on a train, make sure to watch out here. Trams are smaller and slower than trains, but you still don’t want to hit one!

The Collse Watermolen (‘Water Mill at Kollen’) was built in the early 13th century, burned down and was rebuilt in the late 17th century before it became a national monument in the 20th century. Nowadays you can bring a visit on Saturday mornings where you might even catch professional millers at work. #TheNetherlands

Devastating California wildfires from above. The first satellite images of the devastating 2025 California wildfires have been released by Maxar and the likings. The situation is not under control, so unfortunately we will see much more devastation in days and possibly weeks to come.

Wanted to go to bed but noticed some unexpected snow. It was ordered further south only this night and tomorrow morning. It's about freezing though, so no proper snow to play with. #thenetherlands
I’m going to complain about Qatar Airways SEATS. I recently made a flight in economy class on which I mostly slept – or at least tried to – so I didn’t have the intention to make a video out of it because of these reasons. Unfortunately, I found that I had problems with my seat on both flights, so I now feel compelled to at least do something with it. I’ll be having a shorter ‘review’ video coming out soon I suppose. The good thing on both flights was the food though, which was quite okay for economy class if you ask me, so I’ll fit that into the video as well, as not all was bad.
ALL but two killed in Jeju Air plane crash. A devastating plane crash at South Korea’s Muan International Airport on December 29, 2024, has claimed all but two lives. Jeju Air flight 2216 was returning from Bangkok with 175 passengers and six crew members on board when it overran the runway during landing.
And we have lift-off! Luruxy or just basic doesn't make a difference as long as you appreciate it as it is. I'll show you. ;-)
