Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, or Pura Bratan, is a major Hindu Shaivite temple in Bali, Indonesia. The temple complex is on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. The water from the lake serves the entire region in the outflow area; downstream there are many smaller water temples that are specific to each irrigation association (subak).

The Sailendra dynasty built this Largest Buddhist monument in the world between AD 780 and 840. The Sailendra are the ruling dynasty in Central Java at the time. It was built as a place for glorifying Buddha and a pilgrimage spot to guide mankind from worldly desires into enlightenment and wisdom according to Buddha. This monument was discovered by the British in 1814 under Sir Thomas Stanford Raffles, it was until 1835 that the entire area of the temple has been cleared.

Borobudur built in the style of Mandala which symbolizes the universe in Buddhist teaching. This structure is square shaped with four entry point and a circular center point. Working from the exterior to the interior, three zones of consciousness are represented, with the central sphere representing unconsciousness or Nirvana.

Ora Beach is a beach located on Seram Island, North Seram sub-district, Central Maluku, Maluku, Indonesia. The beach, which is located at the western end of Sawai Bay, is next to Saleman Village and Sawai Village, on the edge of the Manusela National Park forest. Ora Beach has the characteristics of a white sandy beach with very clear and calm water with a wealth of coral reefs, fish and various other marine biota. Ora Beach and Sawai village are tourist attractions in Sawai bay which every year can attract about 500 tourists from within and outside the country (2013). Ora Beach has lodging resorts floating above the beach. Meanwhile, in Sawai Village, there are tourist huts located between residential areas that are also floating on the beach. Various tourist activities that can be done at Ora Beach include nature tourism, water tourism, surface diving, diving, culinary tourism, cave exploring and photography.

Ora Beach is located in Central Maluku district, Maluku, Indonesia. Geographically, Central Maluku Regency generally has a tropical marine climate and a monsoon climate. This is because Central Maluku is surrounded by a vast sea, so the tropical marine climate in this area is in tune with the existing seasonal climate.

The Ora Beach area does not have a large land area, because the land is in the form of cliffs or rock hills that are quite steep, although they can be climbed. The nature around Ora Beach is formed by towering Sawai cliffs, tropical forests and mountain ranges that are part of the Manusela National Park area. The cliffs and bay of Sawai surrounding Ora beach were formed from tectonic processes in ancient times where the volcanic crater that was formed was then submerged in seawater to become Sawai Bay. Ora Beach itself is quite small, because around the bay area, besides Ora Beach, there are also other beaches as tourist attractions, such as the Dutch Spring and Bukit Batu.

Raja Ampat Regency is a regency of West Papua Province of Indonesia. The regency, which was formed based on the Law 26 of 2002, was inaugurated on 12 April 2003, and consists of a number of groups of islands situated off the north-west end of West Papua; the four main islands from south to north are Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo. On 25 October 2013 the People's Representative Council (DPR) began reviewing draft laws on the establishment of new regencies, including two new regencies of North Raja Ampat and South Raja Ampat within the borders of the existing Raja Ampat Regency. As at May 2021, these changes have not yet been implemented.

When in Ubud there are many fantastic things to do. There are some really nice walks, be it through the village, through rice fields or just a beautiful nature walk. The Campuhan Ridge walk is definitely at the top of the list of must do walks when in Ubud. It is a beautiful walk which is filled with greenery and hills. It’s more of a jungle or forest walk so if you wanted to only see rice fields and terraces there are other walks you can do. We have been doing this walk every year since 2015, and although it gets busier each year, it’s still such a beautiful experience.

This is a beautiful paved walk along the Campuhan Ridge. This walk definitely showcases the natural side to Ubud. Many trees and hills, the Campuhan Ridge Walk has the scenery of a jungle or forest rather than that of rice terraces and fields.

There are rice fields further along the walk near Karsa Kafe but there are other rice terraces and fields that require less walking to get to and are closer to Ubud centre like the Kajeng rice fields walk. There are also more impressive and popular rice terraces such as Tegalalang or Jatiluwih Rice Terraces (although Tegalalang has changed so much and become much more touristy, not quite the experience it once was).

Tirta Gangga is a former royal palace in eastern Bali, Indonesia, about 5 kilometres from Karangasem, near Abang. Named after the sacred river Ganges in Hinduism, it is noted for the Karangasem royal water palace, bathing pools and its Patirthan temple. The one hectare complex was built in 1946 by the late King of Karangsem but was destroyed almost entirely by the eruption of nearby Mount Agung in 1963.

Tirta Gangga is based on the beliefs in Balinese Hinduism, where river Ganges and its waters are considered sacred. Its waters are cherished for irrigation and agricultural abundance, recreation and economic activity. The Patirthan temple illustrates the historic significance of Tirta Gangga in the Balinese tradition as a pilgrimage and holy water site.

The government will reduce quarantine obligations for foreign travelers (PPLN) both Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign nationals (WNA) next week. From 5 days to 3 days.
This was stated by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan in a press conference, Monday (14/2/2022)

"The government is careful about implementing the PPLN quarantine, although the world's countries have started to apply quarantine-free, the government continues to apply the 5-day policy for PPLN," he explained.

"Starting next week, PPLN and having received a booster, the quarantine period is reduced to 3 days with the condition that the PCR exit entry is on the third day in the morning and PPLN when the negative results come out," he explained.

Luhut ensured that the PCR test results can now be obtained in a matter of hours. So that the mobility activities of people who come from abroad are not hampered.

"PPLN is advised to test again on the fifth day, and report health conditions to the nearest health center or facility," he concluded.

Fully-vaccinated travelers can now quarantine for just five days in Indonesia, while the country’s COVID-19 caseload continues to climb amid an Omicron wave.

In a press briefing today, Coordinating Maritime Affairs and Investment Minister Luhut Pandjaitan, who’s overseeing Indonesia’s COVID-19 handling, said the government has decided to shorten mandatory quarantine for international travelers, effective immediately.

“The government has changed quarantine rules from seven days to five days on the condition that foreign and Indonesians who enter Indonesia are fully-vaccinated,” Luhut said.

In Indonesia, being fully-vaccinated means having received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. Travelers who have only received one dose are still required to quarantine for seven days, Luhut said.

Luhut added that the new requirement was drawn up with Omicron’s short incubation period and generally less severe symptoms in mind. In addition, unlike a couple of weeks ago, imported cases are now dwarfed by local transmissions, suggesting that international travelers are no longer the main driver behind Indonesia’s recent caseload surge.

The government has also decided to reallocate isolation facilities to prioritize COVID-19 patients over travelers.
