Melukat is one of Bali’s magical rituals which this ritual cleanser using water to involve. The aim is to cleanse both body and mind, to refresh the spirit and dissolve away any negative influences. It is also believed to cure non medical diseases and sickness of the spirit and whether it does or not, a session bathing in holy waters will certainly make you feel good.

We just finished “Pangrupukan” ceremony in our house in all Bali Island to purify the world for better one and tomorrow is the day of silence Balinese Çaka New Year 1942 based on Balinese Calender. On this day all in Bali close for the rituals. Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport will be closed. No planes will land or take off for 24 hours. All traffic across Bali will be stopped. All shops are closed. No pedestrian traffic is allowed on the beach or on the streets. There will be local watchmen known as pecalang to ascertain that this rule is strictly obeyed. At night, all lights will have to be turned off. Hotels will close all curtains so that no ray of light shines to the outside. All sound and music indoors should be held to its lowest volume.
Let Mother Earth have a rest. Nyepi or silence day is where the Hindu Balinese dedicate completely to connect more deeply with God (Hyang Widi Wasa) through prayer, fasting and meditation with an additional layer of introspection of the Self, to evaluate personal values such as love, truth, patience, kindness, and generosity.

Summer in Canggu 🍸😎 As resort village on the south coast of the Indonesian island of Bali. Canggu surrounded by terraced rice paddies and known for beaches like Canggu and Echo, with strong surf. I has high-end shops and restaurants. Just south of Seminyak, the beachside town of Kuta is known for its nightlife. North of Canggu, Tanah Lot is a Hindu temple that sits just offshore on a rocky outcrop.

Gunung Agung or Mount Agung, located in the district of Karangasem. With its summit reaching a height of 3,031 meters above sea level, Mt. Agung affects its surrounding climate. Its western slopes catch the rain clouds making the west side lush and fertile, while its eastern slopes remain dry and barren.

The Balinese believe that Mt. Agung is the abode of the gods, and the volcano, therefore, is revered as sacred. It is on this mountain that the mother of all temples in Bali is located, called Pura Besakih. Entering the temple one has to climb hundreds of steps before reaching the main gate. But, fortunately, other staircases with easier climbs are available to make it easier for women carrying high mountains of offerings on their heads to reach the temple.

Hello Gustu’s friends, here is our trip today guys: 1. We went to purify our body and soul with the holy spring water at the temple then we went to tried coconut water fresh from the tree and had some lunch with delicious local cuisine. 2. We went to swing and tried some of coffee with different kinds fresh from the local farm and you can see the plants and the process while you enjoy your coffee. 3. We went to tattoo studio to get some tattoos. 4. Shopping time 😁 5. Dinner with some local food and back to the villa. .
