Amethyst is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom oceanfront villa featuring a luxurious king size bed and other gorgeously carved Balinese furniture. Utilise the air conditioning to keep you cool at night. During the day you can swing open all the doors to let the sea breeze flow through the villa to refresh you. And of course, utilise the crystal clear infinity pool until your heart is content from swimming and gazing out into the open ocean and enjoying some of the best sunsets Bali has to offer! 🌅

Today is a very special day in the Balinese calendar. It’s an amazing time to be on the Island – the streets are lined with gorgeous penjor 🌾, temples are overflowing with colorful offerings, and the Balinese are dressed in their traditional ceremony clothing, heading off to their family temples 💛

Galungan marks the victory of Dharma (good) over Adharma (evil), a beautiful 10-day celebration where ancestral spirits visit the earth, and families come together to honor and give thanks. It’s a time of joy, blessings, and togetherness ✨

You may notice some venues are closed today as many Balinese return to their villages to celebrate with loved ones, but they will reopen around lunchtime tomorrow.

May the blessings of Galungan and Kuningan fill your hearts with happiness and your homes with prosperity 💫 🌸
