SEKUMPUL WATERFALL

Sekumpul waterfall is the beautiful waterfall with 7 hidden waterfalls situated in the tranquility of valley in Singaraja, north part of Bali. It is the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali Island offering the amazing panoramic view of waterfall surrounded by the lush jungle with serenity ambiance. There 7 waterfalls available at this site but the only 2 of them can be visited and having great waterfalls with 80 meters high. It is bit hard walk on down or up trekking to the waterfall passing through the path way with wild bushes, deep down step and crossing river with 1 meter high of water. There is a gazebo available before we trek down to the river to enjoy the panoramic view of waterfall and hear the sound of splash waterfall from the distance. It is recommended to wear the short pant and T-shirt when visiting this waterfall to facilitate your trekking adventure to this waterfall.It is located in Sekumpul Village, Sawan district and Singaraja Region, north part of Bali Island. We recommend you pass through Sekumpul Village when visiting this waterfall and you will go for bit long trekking through cemented path and continued to trek down through the deep hundred of steps as well as crossing river. Therefore the short pant, T-shirt and Sandal (trekking shoes) are recommended to wear.

For those of you who are interested to visit this fantastic waterfall and enjoy the trekking adventure as well as swimming, hence the best time to visit is between 9.00 am to 15.00 pm. But morning trip will be more wonderful while enjoy the beautiful natures on trekking adventure activities. In case of rain, the road will be slippery, and need extra careful to pass through the slippery footpath.

There are 7 waterfalls available at this site but the only 2 waterfall continuously supplied by water generally. Meanwhile the others are depended on the season where the wet season will be possibly appear. The unique thing of Sekumpul Waterfall is the different color of water when the wet season where one waterfall will be keep clear meanwhile to other will be muddy (brown). It is because of the water source are different where one of waterfall is supplied from the spring meanwhile the others are from river.

The public facilities at this site are still inadequate, due to it just started opened for public and appointed as one of places to visit in Bali. However your trip will be fantastic by discovery some Balinese compounds surrounded by Rambutan and Durian trees. After walking about 10 minutes, you will be able to see the view of the rice terraces, verdant hills and amazing waterfall from a distance. We need bit strongly and fit to walk through the trekking track about 300 meters and down hundreds of steps and cross the river with 1 meter high. The changing clothes are also recommended to be brought. Your tiredness will vanish after seeing these twin waterfalls with crowd of splash water sound to captivate you to go for swimming or taking some photos.

SAMBANGAN TREKKING ADVENTURE
The real adventure in north bali

Sambangan adventure offers a greet adventure package for who want to explore the real beauty of Balinese scenery especially sambangan village. There are many exciting destinations in sambangan village such as waterfalls., rice terrace, tirta kuning, (the holly water which has five different colors). More over, we also can find many kinds of plantations such as clove, cacao, palm sugar, coffee plantation etc.

Sambangan village is an exciting place for trekking because it has many beautiful waterfalls. It has 7 waterfalls they are pucuk, kembar, kroya, aling aling, canging, dedari, and cemara waterfalls. Along the journey you will find those exciting waterfalls.

ACTIVITIES
TREKKING
I.1. Long Trekking
This journey starts from tiying tali dam. It takes about 6 hours. Along the trip we can see many kinds of plantations such as coffee plantation, cacao, skin snake fruit, palm sugar trees, jack fruit, banana etc. After walking about 10 minutes we will find the beautiful rice field view. A long the trip we will find the real traditional Balinese people live with their hospitality. More over, we also see many activities of farmers in cultivating their rice field. In this journey we will find 7 waterfalls. After walking about 1 hour we will find the first waterfall which is called as canging waterfall. The second waterfall is dedari waterfall, it is about 22 meters. The third waterfall is cemara waterfall, it is about 31 meters.

After enjoy the three waterfalls we continue our journey. We go down passing a beautiful scenery of rice terrace. Then we go to the Ambengan village. After that we will go down to the river and we will find four more waterfalls (pucuk, kroya, kembar,and aling aling waterfall).

Beside swimming we can also do another unique activities they are jumping and sliding. This activities will be unforgettable for you because it is very challenging and you will never find these unique activities in other waterfall. At the end the long trekking will finish in banjar anyar.

I.2. Medium Trekking
It takes about 4 hours, after 10 minutes walking from the main street we can find the beautiful view of rice field, Singaraja town, and mountain. Then, we continue passing the pebantenan sub village which is separated by a bridge we can find many kinds of plantation like cloves, cacao, pineapple, jack fruit, cassava, etc. then we go down to the banyumala river there we will find the beauty of secret garden. Here we can relax and swim after that, we go up and continue walking about 20 minutes we go down to the waterfalls namely, kroya, pucuk, kembar, and we finish in the last waterfall called as Aling Aling waterfall.

I.3. Short Trekking
For the short trekking we accompany you to explore the four waterfalls in banyumala river like in the medium trekking and the last we will find the rice terrace. The different of the short with the medium trekking is the short trekking does not pass the pebantenan sub village and secret garden. It takes about 2hours.

NENJANGAN ISLAND

Part of West Bali National Park, Menjangan Island was Bali’s first internationally-known diving location.

Famous for wall-diving with easy conditions, Menjangan Island is 30 minutes by local boat from mainland Bali and offers warm waters with stunning visibility that can reach 50m+. The island’s white sand beaches provide good, and well-protected, snorkelling opportunities.

The walls at Menjangan go from 10 to 26-60m+ and are full of nooks and crannies, overhangs and crevasses with soft corals, sponges and Bali’s highest concentration of Gorgonian seafans (some with pygmy seahorses). The fishlife is prolific and turtles are regular visitors.

Although whalesharks may be sighted, pelagics are fairly rare here as the island is protected from the cold ocean currents felt at some other Bali dive sites.

DOLPHIN AND SNORKELING TRIP.

Every morning during sunrise dozens of dolphins gather around for breakfast just offshore of Lovina beach. the dolphins are one of Lovina’s major attractions and if you are there, you should definitely go and see them.

throughout the day there are many boatman in Lovina looking for people to take on a dolphin tour. you can arrange it with our organization or at the reception of your hotel.

to avoid any hassle, we think it is best to just organize it at one of the many Bali accommodation in Lovina.

our hotel or our organization arranged boatman to take us around on his boat the next day. unlike the average indonesian, our boatman is quiet and not very talkative he is very friendly and he is really willing to give you a great time during his tours.

There is a dolphin trip Lovina organization who keeps a close watch on the boats leaving every morning. the boats are only allowed to take tourist for the dolphin tour and they have to return immediately once it is finished.

Anyway at 5.30am the captain boat knocked at your hotel door to make sure you were wide awake and ready for some dolphin spotting. at 6am the boat leaving for searching dolphin.
