The day of Galungan is here. And to celebrate it, is a must 😁. On Galungan day, Balinese people will have a big celebration where they will put up on their traditional clothes, doing ceremonies, and feasts together. Due to this one of a kind day, the Immigration Office will be closed on 7- 9 June 2022. therefore, this will affect your visa processing time. But, no worries, we will be right back at it as soon as the Immigration Office re-opens 😉.

The Balinese celebrate the Pagerwesi ceremony every six months according to the Balinese pawukon calendar, the celebration is usually three days after Saraswati. Pagerwesi derives from the two Balinese words pager and wesi, which means fence and iron. The iron fence is a symbol of strong self-protection and on pagerwesi the Balinese focus on building a strong personal fortification to ensure that evil doesn't enter their minds, speech and deeds, to avoid harm to their surroundings.

Indonesia Goverment updated the list of 42 countries eligible for Visa on Arrival (VoA), meaning more travelers can enter Bali as long as they comply the requirements:
1. Hold valid passport with at least six month left before the expiry
2. Prosses a return ticket to continue your journey to another country
3. Other documents required by the provisions of the COVID19 Task Force

Finally, Bali is welcoming more countries! Nothing stop you to come! 😄

The official government of Bali has revised their policy regarding the quarantine procedures. Qurantines are no longer an obligatory for international travelers upon arrival. This policy has came to effect since March 7, 2022. Other than that, the government now also allow Visa On Arrival for travelers that is from 23 countries that has been listed.

Good news for all travelers! Since February 4th, Bali has officially become one of the entry ports of Indonesia. Hence, you can now take flights directly to Bali.

Requirements for entering Indonesia through Bali are:

-B211A Visa with tourism purposes.
-Vaccination Certificate in English (Two Doses).
-Health insurance that worth $25.000 minimum plus COVID-19 coverage.
-Ticket from Indonesia
-Booking of accommodation for the whole stay period in the country.

All international travelers are required to undergo a quarantine for 5 x 24 hours at one of authorized hotels and a PCR tests. PCR test will be done two times. The first test will be done at the airport upon your arrival. And the second will be done on the 4th day of the quarantine.

Indonesia Goverment Luhut Pandjaitan announced that Bali will become the official port entry from 4 february.

Also the duration of the quarantine will be reduced from 7 to 5 days for travelers that have been fully vaccinated.

Good news for you that have plan to come to Indonesia, but please wait for the official announcement from Immigration. We'll make a new post after the official announcement!
