Hello everybody! This is Bobby and Kawas, two Official Bukit Lawang Jungle Trekking Guides. We LOVE the jungle and we want to future-save this unique ecosystem so that our children and grandchildren can also learn from this special and wonderful place. That's the reason why we started the project of BUKIT LAWANG SUSTAINABLE JUNGLE TREKKING ADVENTURE, following:

1. We respect ALL animals AND plants.
2. We keep the distance to the Orang Utans.
3. We camp outside the conservation area to not overstrain the nocturnal jungle. (Our camp is still "in the jungle", but on private land.)
4. We give a "piece of the cake" to everybody. That means on the one hand we support local people with same ideas of sustainable jungle tourism in camping on their private land. Instead of selling the ground to palm oil industries they are now able to earn money for their families through our program.
5. On the other hand we save a part of the customer's money for realising our future goal of setting up a NGO with the two goals of (1) Providing free jungle education for local children and (2) Implementing a "World Wide Jungle Adopting Program" to conserve threatened jungle habitat in present and future.
