We embarked on an extraordinary journey, traversing from the lowlands to the highlands, fearlessly embracing the tropical heat of the savanna and the refreshing coolness of the rainforest.

Teaming up with Vattikorn Sophonrat and his exceptional group from Thailand, consisting of passionate bird watchers and highly skilled photographers, we meticulously scouted out the finest locations for an enriching Bali-East Java adventure.

Our mission extended beyond mere bird spotting to capturing and preserving every unforgettable moment. Thoroughly covering the southern, central, and northern parts of Bali, and boldly venturing to Alas Purwo National Park and Ijen Nature Reserve, we demonstrated remarkable planning and unyielding persistence, successfully identifying all the key bird species in each location within just 5 days.

A full week of exploring the Alas Purwo National Park peninsula, the Ijen Plateau and the dry forests of Bali Barat National Park, in collaboration with Go Indonesia Tour and Bali Birding Tour, succeeded in recording and documenting very beautiful and rare birds as well as endemic birds.
it took a struggle to be able to clearly see the very rare Javan Flameback!!, we managed to find an active nest at the midle point of the Ijen plateau, we also managed to see a group of white faced partridges looking for food on the dark and damp rainy forest floor, an encounter with the Pink Headed Fruit Dove is the most difficult thing, but after struggling and tirelessly searching, it finally pays off by seeing very clearly!
Javan green peafowl and Bali myna dances are the closing dances in bird-watching expeditions in East Java and Bali .

Is an wonderful two days birding trip in Bali for our clients Mads and Lu'an from Philippines. We covered three different sites just in two days birding trip, and we do quite well or we can say our trip are excellent 👌👌

Bali - East Java 4 days 3 nights Bird Photography Trip

Stunning experience, thank you Mr Warren and Mrs Juliana for join birding with us!! We got unforgettable moment during our birding activities in Bali Barat National Park, Ijen Nature Reserve, and Batukaru Temple. Fantastic bird photography trip with Raymond Goh, Edward Young, and Lee Kwai Fong, our client from Singapore. We explore Bali, Ijen Nature Reserve, and Alas Purwo National Park looking for the perfect destination to see an outstanding variety of Bali-Java specialties. Each of these fabulous areas holds a mouthwatering list of sought-after species.

We enjoyed incredible views of huge endemics birds, including Javan banded pitta, Javan kingfisher, Bali myna, White-face partridge, Cerulean kingfisher, Crescent-chested babbler, Olive-backed tailorbird, Scarlet-headed flowerpecker, Little barbet, and Black-banded barbet.

Batukaru Temple and Bali Botanic Garden

Today we just went to Batukaru Temple and Bali Botanic Garden for great one day birding trip in Bali, stunning experience for Mr Larry James, because today is his first time birding trip in Bali.

We recently had the pleasure of completing a three-day birding trip with our valued client, Todd, and his wife from the USA. Bali and East Java Birding Trip day 4 & 5
Ijen Nature Reserve, Baluran National Park, and Banyuwedang

Birding on the weekend are little bit tricky for us, a lot of traffic along the main road of Ijen yesterday, and in Baluran National Park as well for today..
So finally, we decided to wait till the traffic getting better, and our tactics are doing well, even we started bit late, but we can reach our target.. Today we do the same thing, but after that we decided to get back to Bali as soon as possible, because the traffic getting worst during our birding activities..

A short escape to explore another side of Bali can be an uplifting experience. If you're searching for a unique and fulfilling experience during your stay in Bali, bird-watching is an excellent activity to try. The birds in Bali are incredibly beautiful, with their vibrant colours, graceful movements, and charming personalities.

Recently, we had the pleasure of accompanying Michelle, Arnaldo, and Edy from the USA on a two-day bird-watching excursion. On the first day, we explored the Balinese highlands of Bedugul and Batukaru, where we came across a variety of remarkable birds, such as the Javan whistling thrush, Javan heleia, Dark-backed imperial pigeon, Sunda warbler, Black-naped fruit dove, Flame-fronted barbet and Blood-breasted flowerpecker. On day two, we headed to the lowlands at the northwestern tip of Bali, where we visited the only national park on the island: Bali Barat National Park. Here, we were astonished by even more stunning birds, including the Bali myna, Javan banded pitta, Black-thighed falconet, Javan cuckooshrike, Rufous-backed kingfisher, Small-blue kingfisher, Green junglefowl, Pied stilt, Javan plover, Savanna nightjar, Sunda scops owl, Coppersmith barbet, Little barbet, and Oriental pied hornbill. What an amazing trip it was!

We really want to thank Michelle, Arnaldo, and Edy for joining us on this adventure. We had an incredible time!

Join us for Stunning Cerulean Kingfisher!!!

Bali is an excellent location for birding enthusiasts. The area is easily accessible, and we follow a wide track that takes us through great bird habitats.

We start our day by enjoying the variety of birds that flock to the Ficus trees. Later, we are fortunate enough to spot the beautiful Javan banded pitta, both male and female. Finally, we end our day by observing a diverse range of shorebirds in the traditional salt ponds.

We would like to give a big thank you to Morten and Jette from Denmark for joining us in the Bali Barat area for a fun-filled day of birding.

Bali Barat and Ijen Nature Reserve

The majestic Javan banded pitta, the colourful Kingfisher and the rare Bali Myna, almost always be the main targets.

On our last bird photography trip with Steve Potter Photography and Susie Potter. We get all beautiful pictures of these three most iconic birds of Bali.
