Sama Sama Art Exchange Project Indonesia Malaysia Philippine The SAMA SAMA project brings together artists from three different nations that share a common cultural and linguistic heritage. In the languages of Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines "Sama Sama" menas the same thing and that is "together" and "likewise".
The Sama Sama art project speaks to this transnational experience and seeks to highlight this sameness, reciprocity and natural affinity by bringing together artists who also share root in a common cultural, despite great variety. The Sama Sama artistic, cultural and personal exchange between Indonesia, Malaysian and the Philippines is part of the larger ART-ACTION project coordinated by artist Antonius Kho and others with the vision of allowing direct and personal exchanges to happen between Asian artists with accompanying exhibitions that include art works from artists from all over the world.
