The following steps will guide you towards obtaining a work permit or study permit, as applicable:
Step 1: Enrollment into Eligibility Check Process
Each applicant/candidate is required to submit their primary credentials to the agency for enrollment into the eligibility check process. The Human Resource (HR) department of the agency will thoroughly assess the submitted credentials to determine if the applicant/candidate meets the basic requirements to qualify for a work permit. The eligibility check process may take between 3 - 7 business days to determine.
Step 2: Eligibility Status Result
Upon completion of the thorough assessment of the submitted credentials, each primary applicant/candidate in the application batch will receive an eligibility status result. This result will determine if applicants/candidates qualify for a work permit. Applicants/candidates deemed INELIGIBLE for a visa application will not have authorization to proceed with payments. We will advise such applicant/candidate(s) on ways to boost their eligibility for a future application.
Step 3: Authorization to Proceed with Payment Letter
It is only the applicant/candidate(s) deemed ELIGIBLE who will receive authorization to proceed with payment in furtherance of the application process. The eligible applicant/candidate(s) will receive a copy of the agency's retainer agreement from the agency's official e-mail to sign and submit back. Afterward, an authorization to proceed with payment letter with instructions will be issued to the applicant/candidate(s). This letter enables the applicant/candidate(s) to proceed with an initial deposit of the total application fees in furtherance of the work permit or study permit application, as witnessed in the retainer agreement.
Step 4: Profile Establishment Process
Subsequently, a profile establishment process would ensue for the eligible applicant/candidate(s) between 2 - 5 business days. Afterward, all necessary immigration application forms will be issued to the eligible applicant/candidate(s) through his/her/their lawfully authorized representative for due completion, signing, and submission back for further proceedings.
Step 5: Positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)
In regards to work permit applications, the welfare department will scout for a positive labour market impact assessment (LMIA) for an applicant/candidate(s) for a suitable job offer. Afterward, an approval by the Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) will take 10 days.
Step 6: Provincial Status Recognition
An official proceed with uploading candidates application and proceed to applying for official provincial status recognition in line with due procedure. An official authorization to make payment in regards to the candidates provincial recognition status from the province will be forwarded to you through the company(CTI). This document would be requested at the port of entry to Canada.
Step 7: Police Clearance and Medicals
The next step would be a police clearance from the candidates country of nationality to ascertain that they do not have or are not affiliated in any current or past criminal record or activities. Individual medicals from each client would also be required, after which an approval would be forwarded to each candidate in that regard.
Step 8: Accommodation Application
Accommodation application would then officially commence as this would serve as a common tie between the candidates and the host province. The choice of preference would be communicated to all applicants with regards to their choice of apartment and budget.
Step 9: Province, IRCC and embassy
These lawful bodies will have their say in line with due standards for a temporary foreign worker program.
Step 10: Travel Documents
Upon completion of this process, all immigration traveling documents of the applicants/candidates will be mailed to the High Commission of Canada to Indonesia, in Jakarta, with an official letter that will be issued to the applicants/candidates. The applicant/candidate(s) must present this letter before the High Commission of Canada to Indonesia for stamping, enrolment for bio-metrics capturing, and collection of the travel documents, in order to proceed towards entry into Canada.
The entire processing time for a work permit application takes 90 - 120 days to completion.
Once application process has officially kick-started by virtue of an eligibility status result, the applicants/candidates will be advised to always be actively available, as their attention may be needed at any given time.
Further, when completing the issued immigration application forms, the applicants/candidates should take sufficient time to examine the instructions therein, in order to fill them out correctly and with valid information. Applicants/candidates are advised to always have a blank copy of the issued immigration application forms with them while filling it out in case they may need to make any necessary corrections therein.
NOTE: All information provided by the applicants/candidates, in the issued immigration application forms will be properly documented and saved in the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Service Canada (SC), and Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) database for references. Take notice that any false/misleading information will nullify this entire application process.
