“When tradition meets modernity”. This is the concept that inspires Atelier Vasa to design Go-Jek Tech Valley for PT. Go-Jek Indonesia, the renowned company that has integrated the traditional two-wheels public transport (ojek) with the developed technology of mobile app.

Situated in the countryside of Yogyakarta, we attend to fit the co-working space in the existing traditional "Joglo" javanese bulidings, and the choice to infuse the neat outlines of modern scandinavian furniture, underlines an impeccable sense of style.

The elegance of this combination will be spread in the relaxing atmosphere; we proposed this concept to increase the productivity of its creative population, just like Go-Jek’s fundamental principle.

Interior

Ambience in space is critical. In the Puff Kitchen, there is an applied modernism. Using pine wood to create a fluid movement through space - defining a cafe in a crack of wood, which also reminds us the lack of wood avaibility nowadays.

Puff Kitchen lets customers enjoying their food and drink like in an artistic kitchen.
Due to the small space, the circulation is necessary considered. Pinewood used in Puff Kitchen is from Wonosobo (support local resource as main building material).

Two large panes on the side of building create a good air circulation, even there’s no air-conditioner. Furnishings in Puff Kitchen are designed by modular method, which can be used for many purposes, and easily kept.

An iconic typical food of Yogyakarta, Yu Djum itself is a very well known restaurant. They serve the best gudeg in town. Not only serving Yogyakarta’s culinary heritage but one also plays important role in tourism aspect.

We mixed the concept between vintage minimalis and Java ethnic concept to bring the youth atmosphere. This template may become one’s interior template.

Conceptualised as a comfortable dwelling bohemian. We are very concerned about the concept balancing and perfection so that a function ex*****on with interior detail.

Nevertheless, we feel that the creation of a complete atmosphere could not be separated from the natural exterior details. A good atmosphere is a balance between the artficial with the natural ecosystem, which is why we made a detailed layout of the plant as complement exterior concept.
