Happy New Year to all our family, friends and valued visitors both old and new!We’re extremely excited to announce we’re officially under way with our house renovations which we’re aiming to have completed for this coming Paddy’s Day! Our aim for this stage of renovations is to upgrade our main living areas to both ensure our spectacular views finally take their well earned centre stage while also accommodating all feedback we received over last years summer months from our valued guests! Our gorgeous Island has been shortlisted to the top 5 best places to holiday in Ireland. Achill had tough competition . . . Carlingford, The Burren, Inishbofin Island, Co. Galway and VisitPortrush and Causeway Coast, who are all amazing destinations in their own right.

Exciting news announced...Achill has now been short-listed in the Irish Times ‘Best Place to Holiday in Ireland 2022’ competition, conducted in association with Fáilte Ireland .

There are 5 amazing locations short-listed, based on reader nominations and in-person visits by the competition judges.They will now decide on a winner, to be announced on the August Bank holiday weekend in The Irish Times ...we will be looking forward to hearing the results...😁
