Newly Renovated Cottage situated 3.8 mile outside Buncrana in the Inishowen Penninsula, on the Wild Atlantic Way with beautiful views of Lough Swilly.

Walking distance to beach, local pub and shop. Biddy's Cottage has everything you need for that well deserved break. The cottage consists of two double bedrooms and a loft bedroom with 2 single beds suitable for 2 children. The cottage has a large well equipped kitchen and living room opening out to the decking and BBQ area. There is free wi-fi, smart tv, children's games/books and a mud kitchen

to keep everyone entertained. The house is equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Dolce Gusto Coffee machine, induction hob, oven, microwave, iron, hair dryer and towels. High chair, stairgates, travel cot etc are all available on request. The cottage is walking distance to the local beach but there are other beaches a few minutes drive. Dunree fort is 2km and has some lovely walks. Mamore gap is also a short drive away. Biddy's cottage is a great location to discover all the beautiful places that Inishowen has to offer. Have you ever seen the abandoned site of Lenan Head Fort?☘️

Built in 1895, the Victorian-style fort in Donegal, was one of seven coastal artillery defensive forts made to protect Lough Swilly. Situated on a rocky headland, Lenan Head Fort included barrack accommodation, a water tower, a guard house, and three semi-circular concrete gun emplacements with sloping embankments and underground ammunition stores.

Today, the fort is in a state of decay, with remaining features including a deep moat, gun ports, chimney stacks, and underground rooms that can still be accessed with caution.
