🐋 Clare Irish Whale and Dolphin Group (IWDG) are offering the opportunity to see the Humpback Whale in the Shannon Estuary aboard the Wild Atlantic Wave. This vessel is licensed for 12 passengers.

🗓️ Trip duration is 2-2.5 hrs leaving Kilrush Marina, Co.Clare at 10:00 and 14:00 on 2nd, 3rd and 4th of January 2025.

🐋 Since the end of November a humpback whale has been feeding in the Shannon Estuary close to the Clare-Kerry ferry route. How lucky are we to have this majestic mammal in our waters! There’s a very good chance he’ll be spotted from Irrus as he makes his way back out to sea to continue his journey southward. For more info: https://www.rte.ie/radio/radio1/clips/22470443/.
