You may or may not have heard of the Beara Peninsula, either way, this hidden gem is worth a visit.

Two of the most popular things to do on the Beara Peninsula are the long-distance Beara Way 9-day Hike and the 148 km Ring of Beara drive, which you can also cycle.

Beara nestles between Kenmare Bay (Kerry) on one side and Bantry Bay (Cork) on the other.

There is evidence of human habitation from 3000 BC, with all the sense of history that it brings.

The NFL will host its first regular-season game in Dublin in 2025, it was confirmed today.

What will be one of the largest international sporting events to ever take place in Ireland will be held in Croke Park in September, with the Pittsburgh Steelers the designated home team.

The opposition has not been revealed yet but it will be either the Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Indianapolis Colts or Seattle Seahawks.

These teams have already been named as home game opposition for the Steelers.
