This centre can be reached by a safe 15 minute ferry ride from Baltimore in West Cork. Each ferry is met on the Sherkin Pier by a minibus that can whisk you and your luggage directly to Sherkin North Shore for only 2 euro. Activities in the area include a local sailing school, deep-sea fishing and diving, chartered day trips on vintage sailboats, foraging, summer theatre on Sherkin, an island hotel and pub, nearby cooking courses, and many more developing initiatives.
