On Friday night Bree Macra held our AGM. Thank you to everybody who attended, both in person and online!!

We would like to thank all outgoing officers for your time and effort while on the committee.

Over the past year our club has been lucky enough to welcome an influx of new members whose dedication and enthusiasm has transformed the club. However none of us would be here today without the continued efforts and support of longstanding member Sinéad Kinsella nee Doyle. Her dedication to Bree Macra, among the dedication of others, has seen the club successfully through both good times and bad, and we would like to extend thanks to her in particular for this.

Wishing the very best of luck to the new committee in the year ahead!

Bree Macra would like to extend our congratulations to our Public Speaking team of Eimear Crean, Sarah Kavanagh, and Eddie Casey on their stellar performance in Saturday's Public Speaking All-Ireland Semi-Final in Bennettsbridge. The team spoke on the topic "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". All three speakers put in a huge amount of work over the last couple of weeks, and did Bree Macra proud Although the team were not selected to move on to the All-Ireland Final, we have no doubt that Macra has not seen the last of these three 💪
Well done to Eddie Casey, on also representing the club in the Impromptu Public Speaking Semi-Final. Eddie put in a great performance, and entertained the audience with both wisdom and wit, narrowly missing out on a place in the Final.
Well done also to Sean O'Brien of Kilmuckridge Macra, who represented his club in the Impromptu Public Speaking.

Bree Macra would like to wish the very best of luck to our Public Speakers, who compete in the All-Ireland Semi-Final this Saturday in Bennettsbridge Community Hall, Kilkenny, at 7:30pm.
Our Public Speaking team of Chairperson Eimear Crean, Eddie Casey, and Sarah Kavanagh will present the topic "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
Eddie will also represent the County in the Impromptu Public Speaking competition, which takes place the same night.

Please head to your local protest - let’s show up and show off Macra’s commitment to our farmers and rural economies 💪
