Kilmalooda House,

Kilmalooda House, Kilmaloda House, near Timoleague, was originally the residence of Sampson Beamish and his descendants.

Permanently closed.

After World War II the MacCarthy-Morrogh family occupied the house. William Hill, a member of a family of architects well-known in Cork, designed the house in the late Georgian style. Source: http://www.corkpastandpresent.ie/history/irishbuilder/kilmalodahouse/

To all the Craftspeople, Artists and Makers of wonderful things and goods who took part in our first Christmas Market last year.
You all made it a memorable day.

The organising team here have decided to hold our "Winter Revels" Christmas Market every other year to allow us to organise more available space and get people really looking forward to it...This means that our next market will be in 2018.

We very much enjoyed last year and got great feedback from people who turned up and we sincerely thank you for taking part.

We wish you all the best for whatever markets/events in which you take part in this coming festive season.

Love,

Elisabeth and the team at Kilmalooda House

The Team at Kilmalooda House would like to thank everyone, stallholders and visitors who participated in the hugely successful, and first ever Christmas Market at the House, we can also confirm that we would expect the donation to the Friends of Marymount Hospice will be in the region of e1400, we will know the final figure when Marymount count the collection boxes.

A special thanks, once again to all stallholders, who turned out excellent presentations and ensured the day was a success.

Kind regards

The Team at Kilmalooda House.
