A circumhorizontal arc is an optical phenomenon that belongs to the family of ice halos formed by the refraction of sunlight in plate-shaped ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere. This beautiful natural phenomenon is one of the most spectacular and unusual sights in nature. We were very lucky to get to see it in person. www.libertyirishtours.ie
