Happy Sunday 💚
Only one more month to go for the winter solstice at Knockroe passage tomb, on the border of Tipperary and Kilkenny.
For the past 5000 years on 21st December, the rising sun has lit up the chamber of the east tomb just like this one in 2019.
Of course, uniquely, there is also a western tomb whose chamber will be lit up by the setting sun on the same evening.
