A fantastic new business in Burtonport that takes you on a tour of the beautiful islands in the area. Local history of the islands is explained and if you’re lucky you might see some of the wildlife our sea has to offer! Tours can be arranged to collect you from the pier in Inishfree during your stay at Sandy Toes Cottage 🌊 🚤 🦭

We have had a number of enquiries about stays during the winter months ❄️
Unfortunately, the island is not serviced by a ferry and rough conditions can make the crossing unsafe.
We would hate to disappoint guests in the event of rough weather and not being able to make the crossing therefore the house is only available during May - September.

Sandy toes is a 4 bedroom house located on the idyllic Inishfree island, Donegal.
The cottage sleeps up to 8 people and is located beside a beautiful beach. There is a large garden to the rear of property ideal for families.
Inishfree is a 10 minute boat journey from the village of Burtonport located along the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way.We provide transport to and from the island on our boat.
The island is essentially uninhabited apart from a number of holiday homes, perfect for a peaceful island getaway.
