UPDATE 21.06.2024

The Irish Air Line Pilots’ Association (IALPA) has announced a strike on 29 June 2024 from 5am to 1pm, in addition to the existing work to rule action from 26 June. This will cause major disruption to our customers.

If your flight has been cancelled we’ll contact you directly via email, SMS or through your travel agent to advise you of all the options available to you.

We are currently experiencing a large volume of calls to our contact centres and waiting times are longer than usual. For the most up-to-date information please click the link in our bio.

Please note that all Aer Lingus Regional flights and transatlantic flights to/from Manchester will continue to operate as scheduled.

A message to our customers,
The Irish Airline Pilot’s Association (IALPA) has announced industrial action by Aer Lingus pilots from Wednesday 26 June. Unfortunately, this will impact our schedules significantly and will lead to disruption for many of our customers.

We understand how stressful this uncertainty is. Our teams have been working hard to offer as many options to our customers as possible:
- If you are travelling between 26 June and 2 July 2024, you can change your booking to a later date for free or, you can cancel your flight and apply for a refund/refund voucher.
- For more information on your options including advice on what to do if you booked through a third party, please visit www.aerlingus.com.
- Please note that Aer Lingus Regional flights, operated by Emerald Airlines, and transatlantic flights to/from Manchester will remain unaffected by this action.

This is one of the busiest times of the year for travel and we know that many of you have important journeys to take. Our focus right now is on you, our customers.

We have added more resources to manage the impact of this industrial action and will keep you informed of any changes to your travel plans as soon as we can. If your flight has been impacted, we will contact you directly by SMS, email, or through your travel agent.

Sunday 9th June, due to road closure the 953 East Inishowen to Letterkenny will not service Greencastle, the service will start and terminate in Moville until further notice.

THE BEST HOTEL
An absolute gem of a place. Stayed for one night and it was the best night of my 3 week visit to Ireland. Had the warmest friendliest welcome. Absolutely lovely people working here. The room was really clean, warm and comfortable. Met the owner Paul who was really helpful and also Mary and Kathleen (sorry if I got the name wrong). Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Also met loads of the locals who were so friendly and made me feel part of their family. Best time ever.

Due to the RED Weather warning in effect for Sunday evening, there will be NO SERVICE on the 953 Greencastle to Letterkenny route from Greencastle at 6.00pm today or from Letterkenny at 7.15pm.
The last service today will be the 4.00pm service from Letterkenny .

Route 244 - Derry to Carndonagh & Moville 9pm - operating

7750/7751 - Gleneely/Glentogher to Moville - will be reviewed in the morning

242 - Redcastle to Buncrana - will be reviewed in the morning
