Due to the weather our Roundwood routes have the following updates for Wednesday 8th Jan to Friday 10th Jan 2025:

Roundwood to Bray 9060 (Main Road pickups only)

Roundwood to Kilcoole 9171 (will operate as normal)

Roundwood Primary School route will start at 8.50am from Djouce Golf Club and travel via main road only. Return in the afternoon will be main road only.

Roundwood to Bray 9060 (Main Road pickups only)

Roundwood to Kilcoole 9171 (will operate as normal)

Roundwood Primary School route will start at 8.50am from Djouce Golf Club and travel via main road only. Return in the afternoon will be main road only.

All other routes should operate as normal.

Due to safety concerns from adverse weather we will not be operating the following routes Monday 6th Jan 2025 :

Roundwood to Kilcoole 9171
Roundwood to Bray 9060

All of our other routes should operate as normal.

Monday 9th December Roundwood update:
Roundwood to Bray - Due to multiple fallen trees on the top road the coach will operate main road only until further notice.
The Roundwood primary route will operate on top road as far as Ballinastoe woods then turn right down to Djouce GC departing from there at 8.52 am and continuing as normal from there to the village.

School Transport Revised Update for Monday November 13th 2023:

Bus Eireann have decided all routes will not operate in the morning.

Normal services from the schools will resume in the afternoon.

Roundwood Inn to Bray B9060 - Main Road only

Roundwood NS route B8451 - Main Road only ( departing 9am from Djouce GC)

Roundwood Inn to CCA B9171 - Attempting to Operate

Jack Whites to Wicklow B9201 - Attempting to Operate

Potters point B8500- Attempting to Operate

Tiglin to Ashford - B8110 (starting from Rathmore only)

Lynhams to Wicklow B9202 - Cancelled

Vartry heights to Wicklow via moneystown B9200 - Cancelled

Other routes operating as normal.

Route 9202 Laragh to Wicklow running 15/20 minutes late due to frost issues.

All routes expected to be operated tomorrow Tuesday 13th December 2022. However any overnight deterioration in road conditions may cause route curtailments or cancellation at the last minute.

Route 8451, to Roundwood primary school: Starting at 9:00am from Djouce golf club via main road only to Roundwood primary school


Route 8110, to Ashford national school: operating from Rathmore only

Route 8505, to Wicklow educate together primary school:
If the roads are untreated (this was the case on Friday) the service may not be possible.

Santa’s already spotted out and about today

Lovely to see Santa Claus on the early bus run this morning to Greystones Community College. He even brought selection boxes for our students as they head into their final exams.

NO SCHOOL TRANSPORT SERVICE TOMORROW TUESDAY DECEMBER 7TH 2021.

In addition to the Red Status warning, a status orange warning has issued for counties Limerick, Waterford, Galway, Mayo, Wexford, Dublin, Louth, Wicklow, East Meath.

Met Éireann has advised that there is a strong possibility that the status of parts of these counties currently in status orange are likely to change and escalate to status red.

Due to the significant nature of Storm Barra, as forecast by Met Eireann and to give sufficient notice to schools and parents/guardians the Department of Education is advising that all schools covered by the Red Alert and Orange warning from Met Éireann should not open tomorrow, 7th December.

Following on from this all affected school transport services will not operate tomorrow 7th December in these affected Red Alert and Orange warning counties, listed above.
