We are now taking bookings for the guided running tours of the River Nore Trail taking place during Heritage Week in August, 2015. Follow the river to Bennetsbridge, through meadows, down forest paths and learn the history of the ancient woollen, grain, paper and saw mills from where Kilkenny’s famous ‘black marble’ came from: hear the story of St Fiacre, one of Ireland's most enigmatic Saints and

the worlds first celebrity gardener!! We've fixed the dates for the River Nore Running Tours during Heritage Week in August.
22nd August 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM ,
22nd August 14:30 PM to 17:00 PM
23rd August 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM
23rd August 14:30 PM to 17:00 PM

Tours will start from the Maudlin Hill Picnic Area and limited places available for return transport back to Kilkenny from Bennetsbridge. So book early.
