Dolce Duo started in 1999 when Martina Burke, soloist, and Helen Hughes, pianist/organist, combined their talents. Over the years their musical repertoire has grown to cover both traditional and modern music for all occasions. Based in Kilkenny, Dolce Duo has performed in most churches in the Diocese of Ossory, as well as travelling further afield. With their years of experience, Dolce Duo can adv

ise and help you with hymn selection, local church knowledge and provide suitable accompaniment to your needs. For Weddings and Civil Ceremonies:
Dolce Duo will meet with you before the big day to discuss, rehearse, and check all sound systems at the venue. For Funerals:

One of my favourite songs, my Mother absolutely loves Nana Mouskouri so hence the reason I decided to preform it as my second choice for the Charity event for helping the homeless, the fantastic work by Mary Pierce & her team. It was lovely to hear the audience join in at the chorus.

A beautiful song choice often requested to sing at a funeral ceremony. This song has a beautiful Melody with lovely lyrics that would touch your soul.

A funeral is an incredible personal & difficult time but also a chance to remember & honour the life of a loved one with a touching & personal tribute.

This can come in many ways but one of the most poignant is the song/ hymn choices during the ceremony to celebrate the life of a loved one.
