One of our favourite things to do during the summer is to visit Muckross Traditional Farms ๐ฃ
Take a step back in time and see how Irish people used to live during the 1930's & 40's.
See the traditionally furnished homes along with demonstrations on what life was like back then and how jobs were done ๐งโ๐พ
There is also a animal petting farm for the smaller ones as well as a play area!

The nearby village of Dunquin/Dun Chaoin is a Gaeltacht region and the most westerly settlement in Ireland. There are excellent views of the Blasket Islands available from here so if you have the time this trip is a must ๐

Predated by the old suspension bridge, this fabulous landmark located in the idyllic town of Kenmare was constructed and opened back in 1933 to replace the previous Kenmare Suspension Bridge which was demolished in 1932.

We are blessed down here in Killarney to have 3 maginificant, tranquil lakes at our doorstep.
