Congrats to all that took part and well done to the organisers!

The Organisers of Darkness Into Light Donegal have been shocked and humbled at how well their event has been supported. Over 1000 people set off from Letterkenny Community Center at 4:15am and covered the 5km walk.run around Letterkenny taking in The Town Park which was lit by led tea light. (a sight to be hold)

Pieta House hope to open a center for su***de prevention in the county in the not to distant future and events like this bring that goal closer to reality. Darkness into Light Donegal apologised to some participants who didn't get tea shirts at the event due to high unexpected numbers turning up.

All in all the atmosphere at this event was electric and it is something that is well worth doing.
