Day 3 on Celebrity Apex (only a few weeks late on these 🥲)
Today was our first stop of the week in the beautiful city of Vigo in Northern Spain. We headed off the ship in the morning and had a nice walk around. Niall then decided he wanted to try and kill me in the heat, so we walked to the top of the castle and I must admit, the views were great!
A really beautiful, authentic and unspoilt spot - definitely worth seeing particularly as we both said it wouldn’t be somewhere we would typically go otherwise, which was nice.
We set back for the ship and were greeted by the lovely Celebrity staff who offered us a nice cold glass of water - choice of a few different types - and an ice cold face cloth to help us cool down. I loved this little extra!
Every day in the Rooftop Garden, they show an outdoor movie so we decided we would call up and watch with a drink. A really lovely, chilled afternoon in the sun. This was one of my favourite things on the Disney cruise last year, so I loved doing it again!
That night we ate in another of the main dining rooms, this time Cosmopolitan. I had the steak and really wanted some peppered sauce with it and mashed potatoes - neither of which were on the menu - but the staff said no problem, and when dinner was served - there they were! The staff are great and will do absolutely everything they can to accommodate what you ask for. Again, these little things make such a huge difference.
After a few drinks, we headed for the Theatre for the show - this time it was a comedian called Jon Courteney who actually won Britain’s Got Talent. Another brilliant show, one of our favourite parts of the whole cruise as it’s just something we wouldn’t usually do. Niall might have had a glass or two of wine too many so I called in to the buffet and picked up some late night pizza on the way back to the room for us - it’s not a cruise if you don’t have food in the cabin before bed 😝

Day 2 - At Sea 🌊
Back at my desk today after the best week away with the fab - thank you for the most amazing week! Here’s a quick recap of our second day spent on the gorgeous Celebrity Apex, the first of our days at sea.
After maybe one too many cocktails the night before, I had a very late lay in on the second day which was a day at sea. Niall actually brought me breakfast from the buffet to the cabin, so I had a bit of an unplanned breakfast in bed 🤣 We did very little - in a good way - and had a really lovely, relaxing day. As a little treat the day before we booked ourselves massages at the spa, Niall was first in the morning and I headed for mine in the afternoon 😍
We chilled in the Solarium for a with a few drinks and of course lots of snacks - pizza from the buffet was a necessity! We actually watched quite a lot of sport - between the Olympics, the F1 and the All-Ireland final - both around the pool and in the cabin where we could cast our phones to the giant TV 👌🏻
In the evening it was the first chic night, Celebrity’s alternative to formal nights, where guests are encouraged to dress up, however it can be as much or as little as you like. We ate in Cyprus, another of the main dining rooms, and the food was so beautiful. The special that night was an Indian curry, and it was exactly what I wanted! Niall had octopus which wouldn’t be for me, but he said it was lovely and the presentation looked great - so I had to get a pic!
After dinner, we made a quick stop off at the casino (no winnings unfortunately 🫣) then headed to the Theatre for the show. Tonight’s show was called Crystalize, which was the most incredible display of dance, singing and acrobatic performances - we were blown away!
After our late night the night before, it was time for bed after the show - no partying in the Club tonight 😝 An early night as we were making our first stop the next day. Next up - Vigo 🇪🇸
✨ Celebrity Apex - Day 1 ✨
A very short summary of our first day onboard this amazing ship! We embarked the ship in Southampton - the most smooth, stress-free check in! Niall was amazed as soon as we stepped out of the taxi someone came and took the bags straight from us - he’s hard to lugging them around an airport 😏
We had a little wander around the ship, ate lunch in the buffet, booked some spa treatments for the next day and then watched as we sailed away, from the gorgeous Sunset Bar 😍
After a few drinks, we got ready for dinner in the beautiful Tuscan, where we watched the sun set as we ate. Next up it was time for the show in The Theatre. There is a show every night, all different kind of acts from singers, acrobatic performances, comedians and more!
We ended the night in the Club where they also have nightly shows or performances, a silent discos was the first night, and then a DJ plays after. So much entertainment you definitely won’t get bored! Great first day 🥰

📸 Client Trip 📸 A few weeks ago two of my lovey clients headed off on a belated honeymoon - an epic USA road-trip! They’ve just sent me this unreal footage today so I had to share 🤩 Starting things off right, they flew business class to San Francisco, where they spent the first few days of their trip. After collecting their Mustang, they set off on the road 😎 Cruising along the famous Pacific Coast Highway, with stops along the way in Monterey and Santa Barbara, they then reached the laid-back Santa Monica. After a few days chilling at the beach and exploring LA, they set off on the open road again - this time to Las Vegas! A completely different drive than the one they had just done along the PCH, but definitely just as beautiful 😍 Finishing off this incredible adventure in Las Vegas, they spent their last few days in the world-famous, luxurious Bellagio hotel, with its spectacular fountain show. After spending a fun-filled few days experiencing everything Las Vegas had to offer, including an adrenaline-pumping helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon, it was unfortunately time for home - the consolation being that again they would be flying business class (made it a little easier coming home I think 😝) I absolutely love planning the most perfect holidays for my customers, so I am so delighted to see this fab little snippet of their trip and so happy they had the holiday of a lifetime 🤗 Everything was completely tailor-made to suit these clients, and we worked hard to get everything just right - the itinerary, the hotels and everything in between. This is one of the best things about the service I offer my clients - everything is about you and we will always work together until we have the perfect trip 🥰

💫 Travel Throwback 💫 Still fully obsessing over the best week spent on the Disney Dream last September 🤩 This was my first cruise - and it’s safe to say I was fully converted! We honestly had the most amazing time and could have spent blather week on there 😅 The ship is absolutely beautiful and there is just so much to do - not only for the children, but also plenty of adult-only areas.
