Whilst we appreciate that that is an enormous figure for an ordinary family like ours to achieve, we must try. As you can imagine, their big brother Archie dying so suddenly, at just 16 years of age, from DMD has terrified George and Isaac. It is impossible for us to comprehend their fear. We are no different to any other parents and our only hope is that our Children, are given a chance to reach adulthood.

The trial aims to prove that a specific treatment can slow down cardiac damage which causes cardiomyopathy; a life-threatening complication of DMD. This is a critical step forward in the fight against this devastating disease, and we are honoured that George and Isaac have been chosen to participate.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of these two remarkable young men.

As importantly, it affords the boys the chance to contribute towards a breakthrough in Duchenne research, that could help countless other children worldwide. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to this goal.
