Exciting News from The Join Our Boys Trust: A Life-Saving Opportunity

After twelve years of searching, we are thrilled to share some incredible news about twin brothers George and Isaac Naughton from Ireland.

These two extraordinary young men have been invited to take part in a groundbreaking clinical trial in the United States. This trial offers hope, not only for George and Isaac but for many other children battling the catastrophic disease Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).

Whilst this opportunity brings hope, it also comes with a significant financial cost. To ensure George and Isaac can receive the first 20 treatments each, we need your support to raise $650,000 ASAP.

Whilst we appreciate that that is an enormous figure for an ordinary family like ours to achieve, we must try. As you can imagine, their big brother Archie dying so suddenly, at just 16 years of age, from DMD has terrified George and Isaac. It is impossible for us to comprehend their fear. We are no different to any other parents and our only hope is that our Children, are given a chance to reach adulthood.

The trial aims to prove that a specific treatment can slow down cardiac damage which causes cardiomyopathy; a life-threatening complication of DMD. This is a critical step forward in the fight against this devastating disease, and we are honoured that George and Isaac have been chosen to participate.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of these two remarkable young men.

As importantly, it affords the boys the chance to contribute towards a breakthrough in Duchenne research, that could help countless other children worldwide. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to this goal.

We are calling on our community, friends, and supporters, especially the Irish and British diaspora, to rally around us once again! DMD is a global disease and as such, requires a global response. Together we can give George and Isaac the chance they deserve and take a vital step toward a future where DMD no longer destroys hearts and robs children of their lives.
