You know it’s the weekend when even the local swans are heading to the pub! This cheeky fella was spotted casually using the zebra crossing to make his way to **** and **** – clearly a bird of good taste!

We can’t confirm if he’s more of a pint or a G&T type, but fair play for sticking to the rules of the road. Stay classy, Schull!

Attention: New date for Mna Na Mara 2025

We are delighted to announce that after some careful consideration and consultation with many of you that Mna na Mara will now happen from Friday May 30th to Monday June 2nd 2025 at Fastnet Marine Outdoor Education Centre, Schull, West Cork.

Originally we had proposed a date in March and many people felt it was a little early in the season and we are happy to take that feedback on board and now plan fully for a Summertime date which hopefully works for as many as possible.

In addition to this we can confirm that bookings will definitely open on Friday February 7th at 9am, a range of accommodation options or event only bookings will be available.

We are also thrilled to confirm a wonderful Guest Coach and many of our own local Irish Talent will be in attendance to ensure the weekend has an exciting programs of workshops and trips.

Finally, we thank you for all your kind messages showing support for the event and indeed your patience while we sorted out the new date.

Stay tuned. Everyone, Mna na Mara is alive and well for 2025.
