A collection of prototype model locomotives, and live steam engines. An 18th Century walled Garden with herbaceous borders and rare plants.

Very much looking forward to culture night this evening from 6 to 9 pm. The museum will be open with engines steaming, the walled garden will be illuminated with lights and the cafe is also open. Promises to be a fantastic evening.

Special Steam Up at the Steam Museum, Straffan for Heritage Week, August 16th 12-1pm. Everyone welcome, no charge. A chance to see the walled garden in full bloom. Cafe will be open as usual from 9.30.
