This Saturday night. Always a good night and for a good cause
Rally for the hardest biker's.
Due to guaranteed snow and freezing temperatures unprecedented in 50 years, we're pleased to announce that Elephant Meeting 2024 will take place from 2. on February the 4th . 2024 Thurmansbang location in the Bavarian Forest, north of Passau (coordinates: 48,8027862, 13.3170444).
For over 30 years, bikers have been welcome here to spend a quiet winter weekend in the witches cauldron of Loh, and after more than 60 years the "Elefantentreffen" remains true to tradition by offering an unparalleled experience for all riders. The special atmosphere is offered by participants from all parts of Europe and beyond. Around the campfires in the snowy basin you can hear a wide variety of languages, yet everyone understands and peacefully celebrate with each other. Loh's "witch cauldron" makes no difference no matter your nationality, profession, age or motorcycle. It goes without saying that Elephant Meeting doesn't need a tent with live music or other entertainment.
At least once in their life, every real biker must have been to the original BVDM elephant meeting. Most of those who experienced the incomparable atmosphere are happy to be back.
Being a pure motorcycle gathering, quads are however expressly excluded (cars not even to mention). Arrival and participation only for motorcycles on two or three wheels. Trikes based on a motorcycle are among them. Other three-wheeled vehicles, such as Vespa Ape or similar, are not allowed at the scene.
Of course, there are trophies, for example for the most beautiful self-made (with roadside homologation! ), the longest journey or the oldest participant.
According to the motto "Back for the future", there was a change in concept and since then the seven-point plan has been the basis of the event.
Entrance costs 40 euro, BVDM and FEMA members pay 30 euro.
Tickets will only be sold at the ticket office of the event on-site.
Let grandpa borrow you wool underpants and go make an elephant. A once in a lifetime experience
Looking forward to this rally next February. Always a great night. Mark it in your calendars

On behalf of the No Hopers MCC and Anthony OโCarroll Racing I would like to thank each and everyone of you for who supported Anthony's fundraising run and rock night. 85 bikes left lisselton on run and we had a fantastic day on the road with a great set of friends old and new. We got back to lisselton later than expected (time flys when you're having fun)and were greeted by more of the biker community and had brilliant night (rough hangover the following morning but worth it).it shouldn't surprise me how generous bikers are and the money raised on the run and rock night will go along way to help Anthony with his ambition in the manx grand prix. But it was the level of support and good wishes from everyone was great for his confidence and moral. To believe in your dream is one thing but others to believe in you and in it too is mighty boost . So thanks all at Tomaisins Bar for hosting the run and rock night Dj Martin Behan for the tunes and doing the raffle Eddie for doing the food. the Mex for trafic control and everyone who helped to make the run and the night a success. and special thanks to Liam Lynch and the members of The Pagan soul's MCC for letting us use the weekend of their rally. When the pagan soul's announced they weren't holding a rally this year I rang Liam and asked if we could use the weekend. Liam said work away, glad to help the young man. Sadly the pagan soul's MCC and the biker community lost a good man when Henry O'brien passed away in the mean time. Our condolences to Henry's family and as a mark of respect everyone on the run held a minute silence in respect of Henry ,R.I.P. so finally thank you all and hopefully the ballyduff bullet when bring home some more silverware, but more importantly himself back from the roads. Yours in biking Joseph president No Hopers MCC and Anthony's uncle. ๐๐๐
