The occurred following a combination of renewed interest from local based experienced actors and wishes expressed by younger people to perform drama locally and beyond. We were also fortunate that Fred Williams, and esteemed actor, adjudicator and director, had relocated to reside in out local area and he with over 60 years experience in theatre was instrumental in the formation of the group. e its foundation, our group have presented two plays. “Tom, Dick and Harry” and “It Runs in the Family”, both directed by Fred Williams. We have toured extensively and acclaimed excellent success with both productions from our local base in Cortoon / Tuam to places as diverse as Glanamaddy, Headford, Monivea, Claremorris, Town Hall Theatre in Galway and eventually ending up our last production “overseas” on Inish Mor Aran Islands!
