Day 1 - Koblenz & Boppard
The point of which the Moselle river flows into the Rhine also know as the German Corner. Koblenz is steeped in history, with forest-covered hillsides dominating the skyline, tiny streets, alleys, churches with traditional shops and cafes its a such a picturesque town. Oh and the flowers are just amazing!
Boppard is known as the "Pearl of the Rhine", I enjoyed a delightful walk along the quayside and its narrow cobbled streets with the half-timbered houses and cafes. It has some of the best preserved Roman town walls in Germany. It also is home to some fabulous wine which has growing areas along its Banks.🍷
