The carpark behind me 80m up the road is overflowing with vehicles. Then all the visitors walk down to this point where I'm standing right now. This photo cant explain how much dirt and rubbish there is all the way down the road. A little rubbish pick will be done but this time next week it'll be the very same.

With so many people becoming bored and looking for something to do, massive droves of people are heading to our beautiful mountains and parks around the country. It's a natural thing to be drawn towards nature in times like this SO enjoy that time with your loved ones, enjoy the fresh air and enjoy the beauty of our precious lands..BUT PLEASE PLEASE bring your own contaminated rubbish home with you. I'm hiking 20 years on mountains all over this amazing island of ours and already I'm seeing the impact of this on the hill. Keep our lands clean. Share this post thanks.

Unfortunately we will not be having any group hikes in the next 4 weeks or so due to the coronavirus. I do think its still important to make time and get out for a hike in the fresh air or some type of exercise with your loved ones....head into nature and go walking/hiking It reduces anxiety and depression and helps you manage the inner fear as soon as you start walking. The benefits of lowering stress levels, hiking has been proven to reduce anxiety by quietening the mind and allowing you to zone in on your breathing to a part meditative state. It helps manage stress relief and an instant mood boost, If the body's stronger so is the mind....... I'm wishing all my friends and their families and friends Health and Wellbeing. See you back on the hills sometime soon.🌄💪🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

What an amazing day we had in the Glenmalure valley with a beautiful bunch of friends, hiking around the hillsides for over 3 hours, 12km in distance done and observing the spectacular views of our countryside but also noticing the smiling faces on the people who took part in our walk, giving us at Greater Heights a great sense of achievement. We are looking forward to seeing ye on our next Walk/hike in Devil's Glen on the 15th March.🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🤗
