Last evening, as I boarded the London-to-Cork flight, a passenger sitting nearby asked if I could call his phone, as he had misplaced it. I dialed the number, and although it rang, it was clear the phone wasn’t on the plane.

I called again, and this time, a member of staff answered. The passenger borrowed my phone to listen as the staff explained that his phone had been found back at duty-free. Unfortunately, they told him it wouldn’t be possible for him to leave the plane to retrieve it. He accepted the news graciously, hoping it might be posted to him the following day.

As the flight attendants prepared to close the doors and the captain, Mr. Healy, announced that we were ahead of schedule and ready for takeoff, a bit of commotion stirred at the front of the plane. To everyone’s surprise and delight, the missing phone had been swiftly delivered to the flight attendant by the ground staff! She returned it to the grateful passenger, prompting a round of applause and cheers from everyone onboard.

A huge thank-you went out to the captain and the Aer Lingus team for their thoughtfulness and kindness. Moments like this remind us why we love Aer Lingus—they always go the extra mile for their customers!

I am so excited to be the chosen celebrant for a wonderful wedding celebration Kilmeedy_Social_Farm in 2025.

The super fabulous and her lovely husband, Paddy were spotted on the farm today! 🥳

Patricia was familiarising herself with the farm and all of its nooks and crannies, ahead of officiating a wedding here in 2025! 🤩
