Join me in Glengarriff's ancient woodland for a nurturing & relaxing forest bathing session to celebrate Samhain. This will be my last one until the Springtime.

Samhain is the beginning of the Celtic new year and our Winter, a time when the veil between the spirit world and the physical world is at it's thinnest, a time of magic.

We will Learn the practice of Shinrin Yoku, slow down to the pace of the forest, awaken our senses, let go of what no longer serves us and connect to the land for guidance as we move into the darker half of the year. A time to truly rest, remember our ancestors, dream and experience the forest as never before.

The walk finishes with a tea ceremony with local foraged plants from the forest and light snacks to integrate and embody our forest experience.

Sunday 27th October 11am

Join us in the Forest to celebrate the Autumn Equinox. Learn the practice of Forest Bathing while taking some time for yourself to relax and connect.

The Autumn Equinox is the midpoint between the shortest day and the longest day of the year. A time of equal day and night, a time of balance, a time to pause and reflect. A turning point, as the leaves begin to fall and the energy moves down into the earth. Naturally our energy also turns inwardly as we move into the darker half of the year.

We will slow down to the pace of the forest and allow the land to take us on a journey, to realign us with the elements and our true selves. As we tune into the cycles of Nature, it helps us to understand our own cycles and life better.

We will finish with a lovely tea ceremony with foraged plants from the forest to embody our experience.

Booking essential only 12 spaces available.

Learn the practice of Shinrin Yoku/Forest Bathing through a series of invitations and activities. We will slow down to the pace of the forest, deeply relax while connecting to the earth, trees, rivers and plants for guidance as we begin a new cycle on the Celtic Wheel.

Lughnasa is the time to celebrate the harvest, a time when we gather the fruits of our labour. Is there something ready to be harvested within you?

We will also work with the beautiful Hazel tree, the tree of wisdom & knowledge, to remind us of our own innate inner knowing.

We will finish with a lovely tea ceremony with foraged plants from the forest to embody our experience.

A lush morning foraging in the magical meadow with my little helper. The basket was emptied more than it was filled 🤣 But we did manage to collect some gorgeous All heal (prunella vulgaris)and Red Clover (Trifolium pratense) for future Forest Bathing teas. Soak up as much sun as you can, by far the medicine for the body, mind & soul. Loving these Summer days 🧡

The forest ismagnificent at the moment, in full expression and bloom as we approach mid Summer. The Solstice is a time to pause, honour the sun and give thanks for the abundance of the land.

We will be working with the Oak and Holly Kings, to release what no longer serves us and to remember how we can shine our own light.

RESTING IS DOING

If only we could see the power in rest.
If only we could attach to it, the worth it so deserves.
If only we could open our minds to the idea, that everything in nature has its time to rise and its time to descend.
That each of these acts is just a important as the other.
And that is exactly as it must be.
If only we could see the courage it takes to lay aside the worries, the fears and the comparison, just for a few hours, to let the mind, spirit and body come together again.
Doing the one thing they all require so much… nothing.
If only we could see the power in rest.
Because resting is very much doing.

Join me in the Forest on May 5th to celebrate the Celtic Festival Bealtaine.

Bealtaine marks the beginning of Summer, a time to come together to honour the sun & the fertility of the land. No better place to gather than in one of Ireland's last remaining ancient Oak Forests.

We will slowly journey through the woodland, exploring with our senses. Relax our body and minds as we learn the practice of Shinrin Yoku through a series of invitations and activities. We will connect to the earth for grounding and to balance the energy systems of the body.

We will also be tuning into the Celtic Ogham Calendar and working with beautiful Huath, the hawthorn tree. The tree of heart medicine and heart healing. The tree of love, protection and the good people, the sìdhe, the fairies.

We will finish with a tea ceremony of foraged teas and treats from the forest.
