Our newest team member, Richard, told us he hadn't yet been up to Rossnowlagh in County Donegal. We decided to introduce him to the Atlantic Ocean and mackerel fishing all in one go. The weather wasn't great in the morning, but in the afternoon the rain held off for a few hours so we could explore. Richard loved every moment of it and said he had the best tour guides out there. Massive thanks to Cheryl and Pascal for adventuring into some awesome spots with us!

Been out of action for a week or so with a back injury so no hiking of any significance. The good news is that it gave us time to look at itineraries , start building a website and move forward towards taking bookings for hikes next year. Watch this space - exciting times ahead.

Made our way to the top of Carrauntoohil just in time for lunch on Friday. As the centre peak of the MacGillycuddy's Reeks in County Kerry, Carrauntoohil boasts the title of Irelands tallest mountain, reaching 1,038 meters (3,407 ft) in height. Avoiding the devils ladder we made it to the peak in 3 hours and we're up and down the mountain in less than 6 hours. While the rain held off, the coulds restricted some of our views. We'll try again next year to get the sun up to the top with us. Great day, with a great crew.

In preparation for climbing Ireland's highest mountain on Friday Danielle and I took a hike up Knocknarea mountain in County Sligo. The view from the top was spectacular with the Atlantic Ocean to the west and mountains to the North East and South. Also at the top of the mountain is the largest unopened cairn in Ireland which contains the grave of Queen Maeve. Hiking level was easy and there is lots of information provided on the way up.
