What a totally amazing day to take a group of hikers from America walking on Geokaun Mountain, Valentia and then on to visit the spectacular Kerry Cliffs.
Needless to say they were in awe of the breathtaking Kerry scenery!

Rain and fog at Carrauntoohil today but our group of 4 ladies were well equipped for the conditions and the climb was no bother to them.

Third day of our walking weekend completed.
A soggy start to the morning so we walked Blackwater Bridge to Sneem. The weather cleared and we had a great morning's walking.
Many thanks to all who supported our event. 1100 euros were raised for Cancer Research over the weekend.!!

3 sleeps until the Kerry Way Walking Weekend!
Some FAQs.
1. How do we register? Register on the day at Sneem Hotel.
2. What time should we arrive? A good half an hour before the start time, so 5.30 pm on Friday, 9 am on Saturday and Sunday.
3. What do I need to bring? You will need your lunch, plenty of water, sunscreen, hat, plasters, change of socks, and a light rain jacket, just in case!!!
4. Where can we stay? There is a list of accomodation on our fb page.
5. Do we have to do all the walks? You choose how many walks you take part in.
6. How much does it cost? 20 euros per walk or 50 for all three.
7. How do we get to Derrynane and Templenoe ?. Buses are organised to transport you to the starting points.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR for a long hike.

Walking the Kerry Way with Canadian guests from Parknasilla Resort.
We met some locals on the trail !!!
We finished our day with a boat trip from Rossdohan Pier back to Parknasilla. A perfect end to a beautiful day.

KERRY WAY WALKING WEEKEND in aid of Cancer Research, Friday 13th July-15th July 2018, based in Sneem, on the Ring of Kerry.
All levels of walkers catered for and everyone very welcome.
Friday evening walk 6.30 pm. Sneem to Parknasilla and return.
Saturday walk 9.30am. Caherdaniel to Sneem.
Sunday walk 9.30am. Templenoe to Sneem.
All walks leave from Sneem Hotel. Please arrive half an hour before departure time.
Walks are 20 euros each, or all 3 for 50.
Saturday night BBQ at Dan Murphys Bar Sneem, with live music.
