Dublin Castle is always a must see on any tour of Dunlin City. With its centuries of history these walls are brimming with stories. The Castle does have a connection with one of Irelands most renowned writers, Bram Stoker. Both he and his family worked in the Castle. The traditional Celtic festival of Samhain is now celebrated all over the world as Halloween. This lovely group from all over Europe had a Halloween Tour of Dublin with Eamon. Here they are outside the wonderful Marsh's Library, built in 1701. Legend tells that Archbishop Marsh still haunts its corridors to this day. It was also where Bram Stoker (Local Dublin Boy) got inspiration for his masterpiece "Dracula".

Wonderful evening in Dublin with Janice and Jamie. I told the epic story of the Death of Cú Chulainn - haven't told it in a while.
We ended in the Gin Palace. It was tough choosing between their impressive High Tea (gin cocktail in a tea pot and drank out of dainty tea cups!) or learning how to drink a Guinness.

The wonderful Koplins, Paul, Jill and daughter Grace, enjoyed a relaxed beautiful Friday evening. Exploring and enjoying some wonderful bars, like Grogans and Ha'penny Bridge Inn. Interspersed with terrific sight seeing, listening to music and great conversation. Spring has sprung!

Not often you pass by the Tánaiste on the street. Reminds me of that time I was doing a tour and the President stepped out of a car behind!

Pint of Guinness, anyone? Ah, but can you drink it the 'proper' way?

I've always said that the most Irish Ireland is is when the Fleadh (traditional Irish music festival) is on!

On the pub tour, the guys really wanted to visit local pubs, so I brought them to Whelans where they were hosting their own Trad (traditional Irish music) festival. Check out this lady in the harp!

The longest queue I've seen at Murphy's! But it was worth the (short) wait. Sea salt was a hit, as always. Gin & Pink Peppercorn works well with Lemon Curd. Luckily for Kathy, Alanna and Max, they'll be heading down to lovely Dingle where Murphy's originates! They have one of the best itineraries of Ireland I've ever heard. I think Anne Marie & Simon at Across the Pond are at least partly to thank ;)

I think this was the car that St. Patrick used to drive the snakes out of Ireland 😉
