The Grays from Washington State are huge Rugby fans. The Six Nations kicked off this weekend in Dublin with the epic annual clash of Ireland v England. What better way to get in the mood and sample the atmosphere, than a Rugby Pub Tour, with the Rugby loving guide Eamon.
We tackled, mauled and rucked our way into the night!

Christmas is long gone Temple Bar pub of same name has clearly kept their decorations up. Of course brightening up a dark January for Luis and Rubita from San Francisco and making a pretty backdrop. Despite the weather we had a great walking tour, the plus was most of the sights we had to ourselves.

It was a cold but sunny morning in Dublin for this student tour from Berlin. A wonderful happy and well informed group. Multiple different backgrounds, all very inquisitive about the history and culture of Dublin.

Have ye heard?

I wonder can we get him to put forth the idea of "The Celtic Isles" to finally encourage people to stop using the antiquated and offensive "British Isles" to refer to Ireland and Britain?

The pronouncements came during a meandering press conference held a day after the US Congress certified Trump’s election victory.

Anne and Brant from Evanston IL were my cultural companions on our Museums Tour of Dublin last Saturday. The three of us are pictured here in the National Art Gallery with the famous 'Demidoff Rembrandt' (1633) in the background. Photo taken 4 Jan.

It was a great night for a Pub Tour of Dublin with Eamon. The Millers from North Carolina stopped en route from one pub to another on the very festive looking Grafton Street. Grafton Street always looks fabulous at Christmas.

The essence of a pub tour is to captivate and offer something unique. The Blue family from Denver got it all in just a few pubs, set dancing, great music, wonderful food, great drink experiences and of course conversation. What an evening we had.

A great way to find out about Irish history, culture and heritage is to take a guided museums tour of Dublin City. Here are the lovely Aquilar family from Chicago enjoying the fading evening winter sun. A fresh air break in between enjoying Dublins museums and galleries and our fascinating history.

What makes Irish pubs different? Talking and mingling, that's what an Irish pub is for, that and drinking of course🤣. Dublin pubs are a haven of friendly conversation and witty banter. Nick, Dave and Colin from Chicago sampled plenty of true Dublin pub culture on their Pub Tour of Dublin with Eamon.

Countdown to 2025.... I'm pictured here with Heidi and Wendy (from Boston and NY, respectively) in front of Dublin's Christchurch Cathedral. Christchurch is Dublin's Times Square, where revellers gather late every 31 December to cheer in the New Year. Photo taken 28 Dec.

What an erudite, cultured lot Dublin Tour Guide clients are! While touring the Fair City last Monday, the significance of April 13th, 1742 was not lost on our visiting cognoscenti, the Miller Family from Raleigh, North Carolina - it was of course the day when the world première of Handel's Messiah took place in O'Neills Musick Hall in Dublin's humble Fishamble Street....Photo 23 Dec.

Caroline, Grace and Sheila, all from New Jersey, had a lovely Christmas Tour of Dublin with Eamon. Here we are outside Christchurch Cathedral.
It was at Christchurch on 24 May 1487, following The War of The Roses, that a 10 year old boy was crowned, Edward VI, King of England and of France and Lord of Ireland.
Only problem was, he wasn't Edward! His real name, was Lambert Simnel, a child actor, who was used by unscrupulous people to pretend he was!
But for one day, he was one of the most powerful monarchs in all of Europe
