Coming to The Source 13th Feb for 6 nights

We are delighted to present our spring production of Tony Award winning play ‘The Seafarer’, written by Conor McPherson and directed by Margaret McCormack 🎭

It’s Christmas Eve, and Sharky has returned to Dublin to look after Richard, his irascible and ageing brother, who has recently gone blind. Sharky, an alcoholic, is battling to get through Christmas without a drink.

Richard’s drinking buddy Ivan is holed up at the house too. They are joined for a game of poker by Sharky’s old love rival, Nicki, who brings along the mysterious Mr. Lockhart. In their alcohol induced world they drink, they fight and they game. But with the arrival of this stranger from the distant past, the stakes are raised even higher. In fact, Sharky may be playing for his very soul.

HOLYCROSS ABBEY SOLEMN NOVENA 2022: We are delighted to announce that Holycross Solemn Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help will run from 8th to 16th September and we will be able to welcome pilgrims back in person for the first time in three years. Weekday sessions at 7am, 10.30am, 4.30pm & 7.30pm (please note no 9.30pm session this year & there is a 12.30pm session on Sunday but no 4.30pm). Anointing of the Sick will take place on Saturday 10th at 2pm, Blessing of Infants on Sunday 11th at 2.30pm and the Penitential Service on Thursday 15th at 7.30pm.
